ABOUT ME
I am a pianist and piano tutor based in West London. I am a doctoral candidate in piano performance at the Royal Academy of Music and hold a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music, with a specialisation in piano pedagogy. Previously, I graduated with Distinction from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where I studied piano performance with scholarship under the tuition of Professor John Thwaites and Professor Malcolm Wilson. I have also completed instrumental route PGCE teacher training with highest distinction and have many years of experience teaching piano and music theory to students of all abilities, from beginners to diploma-level students.
I have performed widely in many prestigious venues across the UK and abroad, including past concerts and talks touring in East Asia. I also possess particular expertise in contemporary repertoire; previously I collaborated with composers such as Tazul Tajuddin and Stephen McNeff and I made recordings of keyboard works by Ryan Probert and the complete solo piano works of Jean Barraqué.
